About The Event
Please come and join the evening with CT ITE and ITS-CT at the 2025 CT ITE & ITS-CT Joint Meeting. The evening will include networking, social hour, and pizza/drink (vegetarian options + one drink ticket). There will be a presentation on Intersection Control Evaluation Policy from CTDOT team followed by discussion.
Parking is free and plenty.

The Connecticut Legislature passed CGS 13b-26 in 2023 which requires the CTDOT to adopt an Intersection Control Evaluation Policy (ICE) to be used when evaluating the construction of a new intersection or the modification of an existing intersection.
CTDOT’s Division of Traffic Engineering will be presenting the ICE Policy and associated Directive. Included in this presentation will be the tools/resources that have been developed to help perform an ICE, as well as discussing the process of performing one.
